Our workouts

Staying socially fit takes work

Our social skills are like muscles.

01. We need to build them and we need to maintain them.

It’s never too late to develop new skills - even ones that were never modelled for us growing up.

02. If we don’t use them, we lose them.

As with anything meaningful, staying socially fit takes graft and commitment: we have to be intentional about our relationships.

03. When our relationships are in good shape, we feel fantastic!

Our mental and physical health is bolstered, and we tap into our greatest sources of meaning, purpose and joy.

Who we help

INDIVIDUALS

It can be really difficult to work out what we need from our relationships, let alone how to make lasting changes. We draw upon science and design practices to develop personalised plans for people seeking the kind of social health we all deserve.

BUSINESSES

Businesses depend on their teams’ relationship skills for their creativity, productivity, growth and stability. We provide independent expertise and support to organisations wishing to bring out the best in their staff as individuals and as teams.

COMMUNITIES

We work alongside leaders, members, stakeholders and other professionals wanting to improve the culture and practice of social health in a place - like improving social trust, addressing challenges in social cohesion and exploring ways to improve social mobility.

How we work

EVIDENCE-BASED: All our workouts combine the latest psychological and sociological research with cutting edge behavioural design and coaching methodologies. Our aim is to make real world, real time improvements.

BESPOKE: We’ll tailor our workouts to your life, your personality, your priorities and your circumstances (or those of your community). Your social fitness needs are unique to you.

HOLISTIC: We look at the big picture to see where we can make the most meaningful and effective improvements, and we think about skillset, mindset, habits and environment. To stay socially fit we need workouts that are practical - and that we love doing!

Need to know

We focus on non-romantic relationships because there’s already a lot of support out there for intimate relationships, and the significance of our other connections is hugely underestimated.

We’ll measure progress against your goals together. There are no silver bullets and you will need to do your reps, but we can often see rapid improvements even from small changes.

This isn’t psychotherapy. If issues come up that we agree are better addressed by a psychotherapist or counsellor then we can point you to people we highly recommend who provide that kind of expertise.

We don’t sell friendship. We can help you to make friends, but we can’t make them for you. We want to set you up with skills and habits that last a lifetime.

We don’t currently work with children or younger people - though we hope to be able to do so in the near future. You must be at least 18 years-old for us to be able to train with you.

Not sure if this is right for you or your organisation or community? Please drop us a line and we can discuss whether there’s a potential fit.
